Local SEO
Get found when nearby customers are searching.
For businesses serving defined locations, local search can connect high-intent customers with the business at the moment they are looking for a solution.
Problems we solve
Why nearby customers are finding someone else.
Local visibility is usually lost on details rather than on anything dramatic.
Not appearing prominently in Google Maps
Competitors show up in the map results for searches the business should be part of.
Google Business Profile is incomplete
Categories, services, hours, description or photos are missing, thin or out of date.
Incorrect business information online
Old addresses, disconnected phone numbers or former names still appear across directories.
Few or inconsistent reviews
There is no routine for asking, so reviews arrive occasionally and unevenly.
Weak location relevance
Nothing on the site or the profile makes it clear which areas the business actually serves.
Competitors dominate nearby searches
Businesses down the road are consistently more visible for the same local intent.
What Local SEO may include
The profile, the site and everything in between.
Scope depends on the business, the market and what already exists.
Google Business Profile audit
A full review of what is on the profile now, what is missing and what is working against it.
Category optimization
Primary and secondary categories matter a great deal in local results, and they are frequently wrong.
Service optimization
Listing what the business actually does, in the profile fields Google gives you for it.
Business-description improvement
A description written for a customer deciding who to call, not stuffed with location names.
Photo and profile recommendations
What to photograph, what to replace and what tends to get ignored.
Local keyword research
How people in the area phrase what they need, which is often not how the business describes itself.
NAP consistency
Name, address and phone matching everywhere they appear, because conflicting data confuses everything downstream.
Citation cleanup and building
Correcting wrong or duplicate listings and adding the ones that are genuinely relevant.
Review-generation strategy
A legitimate, repeatable way to ask real customers. We do not buy, incentivise or write reviews.
Local landing-page strategy
Pages for locations you genuinely serve, with something real to say about each one.
Local structured-data preparation
Getting the site ready for markup that describes the business, its location and its services.
No single factor decides local rankings. Citations, categories and reviews all contribute, but none of them is a lever that guarantees a position. Google weighs relevance, distance and prominence together, and distance is not something any agency controls. We work on the parts that can genuinely be influenced and stay honest about the parts that cannot.
How it connects
Local visibility is a system, not a listing.
The profile is the front door. What sits behind it decides whether the visit turns into anything.
Website
Location pages, contact details and clear service information on the site support what the profile claims.
Explore Website DesignGeneral SEO
Local and organic search share a foundation. Fixing structure and content helps both at once.
Explore SEOGoogle Ads
Paid local campaigns can cover demand immediately while local visibility is still being built.
Explore Google AdsReviews and reputation
Reviews influence both whether Google shows you prominently and whether a person chooses you once it does.
Social profiles
Consistent business details across social profiles reinforce the same information Google is cross-checking.
Explore Social Media OptimizationAnalytics
Profile activity on its own is not the goal. Website analytics show what happened after the click.
Explore Analytics & CROMeasurement
What can be measured.
Google Business Profile reports on how people find and interact with the profile, and what those metrics are called changes from time to time. Rather than promise a fixed set of numbers, we work with what the platform currently exposes alongside your website analytics.
Local visibility
How prominently the business appears for local searches it should be competing in.
Profile interactions
The actions people take on the Google Business Profile itself.
Calls
Calls initiated from the profile and from the website.
Website visits
Visits sent from the profile through to the site.
Direction and location actions
Requests for directions, where the platform makes that available.
Local organic traffic
Website visits from location-flavoured organic searches rather than the profile.
Attributed leads
Enquiries that can be traced back to local search rather than assumed.
Questions
Local search questions we get asked.
What is Local SEO?
Work that helps a business appear when someone nearby searches for what it does — in Google Maps, in the local pack and in location-flavoured organic results. It covers the Google Business Profile, the website itself, and how consistently the business is represented elsewhere online.
What is a Google Business Profile?
The free listing Google shows for a business in Maps and search results: name, category, hours, contact details, photos, services and reviews. For local searches it is often the first thing a potential customer sees, sometimes before they ever reach the website.
Do reviews matter?
Yes, in two ways. They influence whether someone chooses you over a competitor, and review activity forms part of how Google assesses prominence. We help set up a legitimate process for asking real customers. We do not buy, incentivise or fabricate reviews, and we would advise against anyone who offers to.
Do I need separate pages for every city?
Only where there is something real to say. A page for a location you genuinely serve, with specific and useful content, can help. Dozens of near-identical pages with the city name swapped are thin content, and search engines are good at recognising them. We would rather build fewer, stronger location pages.
Can you optimize an existing Google Business Profile?
Yes — most of this work is on profiles that already exist. Completing the information, correcting categories and services, improving the description and photos, and cleaning up inconsistencies elsewhere online. We would ask you to grant us access to the profile; we do not ask for ownership of it.
How long does Local SEO take?
It varies. Correcting profile information and inconsistent listings can show an effect sooner than broader organic SEO, but competitive local markets still take sustained work. We will not attach a fixed timeline to it.
